The domed Institut de France is framed through a shadowed archway of the Louvre, creating a striking contrast between the dark passage and the sunlit architecture beyond. The French flag hangs above the classical façade while visitors move across the Pont des Arts, their silhouettes adding life and scale to the scene. Repeating arches, lamps, and columns draw the eye outward from the Louvre toward the opposite bank of the Seine.
